Robert Houston II, known to many as Black Pegasus or Black-P, is an American rapper. He is a hip hop artist from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also the president and CEO of his own company, Brass Knuckle Entertainment.

About Black Pegasus

Robert Houston II was born in Germany on March 24, 1980. His father was serving in the US Air Force there. Before settling in Colorado Springs at age ten, Robert lived in Arizona, Florida, and New Mexico. His family made their home on the southeast side of Colorado Springs. He grew up in the Woodside Townhomes area.

Black Pegasus has a mixed background. He is both African-American and Mexican. This mix inspired the title of his fourth album, The Black Mexican. He went to Widefield and Mitchell High Schools. He started rapping when he was sixteen years old.

He first worked with a group called Fusion of Syllables (F.O.S.). After two years, he decided to start his solo career in 2001. Since then, Black-P has released several studio albums and mixtapes. He also worked on a collaboration CD called Banana Spitz with Liquid Assassin. His album Brass Knuckle King came out in 2011. It featured other artists like Immortal Technique and Liquid Assassin.

Black-P has also competed in rap battles. He won the Rock the Mic Battle in 2003. He also took second place in a big competition called Scribble Jam in Cincinnati. His talent has even been featured on TV shows. He appeared on MTV's Road Rules and The Real World. You might also know his music from the NBA Jam 2 video game.

He has also put out mixtapes like Black P The Mixtape. Black Pegasus has collaborated with other artists too. One of his collaboration projects was Black Pegasus Presents: Banana Spitz. Another was The Council, which featured Black P, King Tef, Hypnautic, and Johnny Rocketz.
