Felipe Andres Coronel (born February 19, 1978), known as Immortal Technique, is an American rapper, activist, and songwriter. He is known for his powerful lyrics that often talk about important topics. These topics include politics, social fairness, and how governments work.

Early Life and Challenges
Felipe Coronel was born in Lima, Peru, in 1978. His family moved to Harlem, New York, in 1980. They left Peru to escape a civil war happening there. As a teenager, Felipe faced some challenges and got into trouble.
