Blaine, Idaho facts for kids
Blaine is a small, unincorporated community located in Latah County, in the U.S. state of Idaho. An unincorporated community means it's a group of homes or buildings that doesn't have its own local government like a city or town does.
A Glimpse into Blaine's Past
Blaine had a post office for a short time, from 1882 until 1887. This means people living there could send and receive mail directly in their community. The area was mainly settled by people from Scandinavian countries, like Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. These early settlers helped build up the community.
