Blair's Sauces and Snacks is a food company based in New Jersey. They make many kinds of hot sauces and spicy snacks. The company's founder, Blair Lazar, first created his "Death Sauce" in 1989. At the time, he was working as a bartender on the Jersey Shore.
People loved his spicy sauce so much that he started bottling it. Soon, he created a whole line of hot sauces. These included popular names like After Death, Mega Death, and Sudden Death. Blair and his sauces have even been featured on TV shows and in famous magazines.
Blair's Death Sauce Range
Blair's makes a variety of hot sauces under the name Death Sauce. These sauces have different levels of spiciness. Some are milder, like Sweet Death, while others are extremely hot, such as Ultra Death Sauce. The hottest sauces often have special pepper extracts added to make them even spicier.
Here are some of the Death Sauce types:
- Ultra Death Sauce: This is one of the hottest sauces. It contains very spicy peppers like Red Habanero and Naga Jolokia.

Blair's also has a special "Reserve Collection." These are limited-edition, very rare hot sauces. Each bottle is often signed and numbered by Blair Lazar himself. These special sauces are created to celebrate important events or experiences.
The idea for these reserves started in the early 1990s. Blair used to dare customers at his bar to try "Blair's Wings of Death." These wings were made with his Original Death Sauce. If customers could handle the heat, they could stay at the bar past closing time. This led to the "A.M." series of sauces, like 3am, 4am, and 5am Reserves.
Some of these reserve bottles are so rare that collectors have paid a lot of money for them. For example, one bottle was reported to have sold for over $5,000!
Blair's 16 Million Reserve
The hottest product ever made by Blair's is called "Blair's 16 Million Reserve." Its strength is an incredible 16 million Scoville units. To give you an idea, regular Tabasco sauce is usually between 2,500 and 5,000 Scoville units. This reserve contains only pure capsaicin crystals, which are what make peppers spicy.
Only 999 bottles of "Blair's 16 Million Reserve" were ever made. Each one was signed and numbered by Blair Lazar, and they have all been sold. This special reserve was even certified by Guinness World Records as the hottest product available at the time it was released.
