Where is Blanquillo Located?
Blanquillo is situated on Route 43. It is about 32 kilometers (20 miles) north-northwest of where Route 43 meets Route 6. A railway track also runs through the village. This track connects the cities of Florida and La Paloma.

Blanquillo officially became a "Pueblo," which means village, on November 17, 1964. This change in status happened because of a special law called Ley Nº 13.299.
