Blue Lake is a pretty, almost-round lake in Florida. It covers about 33.76 acres (14 ha) of water. You can find this lake south of Sebring, Florida. It's actually inside the southeast part of Highlands Hammock State Park. The area around the lake is mostly countryside. However, there are some houses nearby.
Visiting Blue Lake
Blue Lake is open for everyone to enjoy! You can visit the lake along its entire edge. The lake is part of Highlands Hammock State Park. This park is open every day from when the sun comes up until it sets.
Fun Activities at the Lake
You can fish from the shore at Blue Lake. There are no special boat ramps or swimming spots. We don't have information about the types of fish in the lake.
Lake Facilities
On the northwest side of Blue Lake, you will find a parking area. There are also four shelter houses with picnic tables. These are great spots to relax and have a meal with friends or family.

Sometimes, people get this Blue Lake mixed up with another lake. There is another lake also called Blue Lake in Highlands County. That one is located just north of Lake Placid, Florida.
