Robert Allen Madritsch (born February 28, 1976) is a former professional baseball pitcher from the United States. He played for the Seattle Mariners in Major League Baseball (MLB) for parts of two seasons. He also played for other teams, including the Long Island Ducks.

Bobby Madritsch's Baseball Journey
Starting His Baseball Career
Bobby Madritsch grew up in Burbank, Illinois. He went to Reavis High School where he was a great baseball player. After high school, he played college baseball at Point Park University.
In 1998, the Cincinnati Reds picked him in the sixth round of the 1998 Major League Baseball draft. This means they chose him to join their team's system. He played for different teams in the minor leagues.
Playing in Independent Leagues
After leaving the Reds in 2001, Bobby played for several independent baseball teams. These teams are not part of Major League Baseball. He played for the Winnipeg Goldeyes, the Chico Heat, the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings, and the San Angelo Colts.
Time with the Seattle Mariners
In 2002, the Seattle Mariners signed Bobby Madritsch. He then spent two years pitching for the Mariners in Major League Baseball. He won 6 games and had an ERA of 3.41. An ERA shows how many earned runs a pitcher gives up per nine innings.
After his time with the Mariners, he was picked by the Kansas City Royals in 2005. However, he faced some injuries and did not pitch for four years.
Returning to the Field
In 2008, Bobby signed with the Long Island Ducks. This team is part of the Atlantic League, another independent league. He played in two games before he decided to retire from professional baseball.
