Bolívar (pronounced bo-LEE-var) is a province in Ecuador, a country in South America. Its capital city is Guaranda. Much of the province is located in the Andes Mountains, which means it has a cool, 'sierra' climate. Some lower areas have a colder, tundra-like climate.
