The main hosts present the show from a central studio. Other reporters share news from different cities. The show covers important Brazilian political and economic news. History of Bom Dia Brasil
Bom Dia Brasil first aired on January 3, 1983. Carlos Monforte was the first presenter. The show was first broadcast only to Brasília. At the start, Bom Dia Brasil mainly focused on politics and the economy in Brasília. There was not much time for other topics.
The show's style stayed mostly the same for many years. On March 29, 1996, the schedule changed. Bom Dia Brasil started showing at 7:30 AM. Another show, Bom Dia Praça, began at 7:00 AM.
On January 21, 2019, the program became longer. It started being broadcast from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. This added 30 minutes to the show. Before this, it ran from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
On August 5, 2019, Bom Dia Brasil got a fresh new look. It started using a new format. It also had new scenery, music, and graphics.
