Borja Docal Sáiz (born on October 3, 1991) is a former footballer from Spain. He played in different positions on the field. Borja was known for playing as a left-back (a defender on the left side) or a left winger (a player who attacks from the left side).

Borja Docal's Football Journey
Starting His Career
Borja Docal was born in Santander, a city in Spain. He grew up playing football in the youth system of a big local club called Racing de Santander. This means he trained and played with their younger teams as he learned the sport.
He made his first appearance for the main team on August 19, 2012. This was in a game against UD Las Palmas in a league called the Segunda División. He started the game, which means he was on the field from the very beginning.
First Goal and Moving Teams
Borja scored his first professional goal on March 23, 2013. Even though he scored, his team lost that game 3-2 against CD Lugo. In his first season with the main team, he played in 14 games from the start. His team, Racing de Santander, ended up moving down to a lower league that season.
On July 14, 2013, Borja Docal joined another team in the same league, CD Mirandés. He played there for a couple of years.
Playing Abroad and Returning Home
After playing for Mirandés, Borja returned to Racing de Santander for another period. Later, he decided to play football in other countries. He played for FK Senica in Slovakia and then for FC Dynamo Brest in Belarus.
In 2018, Borja came back to Spain. He joined a team called Gimnástica de Torrelavega. He played for them before ending his football career.
