Borrell I of Pallars facts for kids
Borrell I was an important leader known as a Count in a place called Pallars. He ruled the County of Pallars from 948 to 995.
The Life of Borrell I
Count Borrell was the son of Count Lope I of Pallars and Goltregoda of Cerdanya.
When he was young, his mother, Goltregoda, helped him rule until he was old enough, around 953. Borrell didn't rule alone! He shared power in Pallars with his brothers, Raymond II of Pallars and Sunyer I.
Borrell I was married to a lady named Ermentruda.
