Aboubacar Sidiki Koné (born on May 3, 1992) is a professional football player from Ivory Coast. He plays as a midfielder for MH Nakhon Si City in Thai League 3. He is known for his skills in the midfield.
Koné's Football Journey
Aboubacar Sidiki Koné started his football career early. He played for AS Bamako before joining Al-Merrikh SC in 2006. He spent about a year and a half playing in Sudan for Al-Merrikh.
After his time in Sudan, Koné moved to MAS Fes in Morocco. He played there for four years, gaining valuable experience. In January 2011, he moved to JS Kabylie, an Algerian team.
In the summer of 2012, Koné returned to his home country, Mali. He signed with Djoliba AC, one of Mali's top clubs. He has played for many clubs throughout his career, showing his dedication to the sport.
Playing for His Country
Aboubacar Sidiki Koné also represented his country, Mali, in international football. He was part of the Mali Under-20 team. This team finished third in their group at the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship.
He also played for the Malian 2004 Olympic football team. They did very well, finishing first in their group. However, they lost to Italy in the quarter-finals, which meant they were out of the competition.
Koné was also chosen to play for the senior Mali national team. He participated in the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations. His first game for the senior team was on June 5, 2005. This was a qualifying match for the 2006 FIFA World Cup against Liberia.
