Welcome to Box Hill!

Box Hill is a quickly growing area in North West Sydney. It is part of a special plan by the NSW Government. This plan helps new areas like Box Hill grow and develop. The goal is to create new homes and communities.

Growing Up Fast

In 2013, the land in Box Hill was "rezoned." This means its rules for building changed. It allowed for more homes and shops to be built. The suburb is bordered by Boundary Road to the west and Annangrove Road to the east. Old Pitt Town Road is to the north, and Windsor Road is to the south.

When Box Hill is fully developed, it is expected to have many residents. Around 42,480 people could live here. This means about 13,276 homes will be built.

New Neighbours

In July 2020, a part of northern Box Hill became a new suburb. It is now called Gables. Box Hill also took in two small areas from Rouse Hill. This helps keep the suburbs organised.
