Box Log Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Queensland, Australia. It's part of Lamington National Park, a famous natural area. The falls are found on West Canungra Creek, which flows into the Logan River.

This amazing waterfall is near the popular O'Reillys resort village. The area around Box Log Falls is filled with thick rainforest. You can see many tall trees, especially a type called Brush Box.

The name 'Box Log' comes from the many Brush Box trees that grow near the waterfall. These trees are very large and impressive.

The local Aboriginal people have their own name for the falls. It is Tullerigumai. This name comes from the Bundjalung language. It means 'log big', which also refers to the large trees.

How to Visit Box Log Falls

You can reach Box Log Falls by walking along a special track. This track is called the Box Forest Circuit. It starts from O'Reillys and is about 10.9 kilometers long.

The walking track is well-kept and easy to follow. However, it is not suitable for wheelchairs or bicycles. It's considered a medium-steep walk, so be ready for some uphill parts. Along this same circuit, you can discover many other waterfalls too!
