Boydtown is a small, unincorporated community located in Wisconsin, United States. An "unincorporated community" means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a city or village with its own local government.
This community is found in Crawford County, within the areas of Marietta and Wauzeka. You can find Boydtown along Wisconsin Highway 60. It sits on the north bank of the beautiful Wisconsin River, about 4.5 miles (7.2 kilometers) east-northeast of the village of Wauzeka.
Boydtown was named after Robert Boyd. He was the person who planned out the community in 1844. He hoped that a railroad would be built through the area, which would help the community grow and connect with other places.
