History of Bradford

Bradford got its name from Robert E. Bradford, who was one of the first people to settle in the area. A post office, where people send and receive mail, has been open in Bradford since 1874. This shows that the town has been an active community for a long time.

In 2006, a big storm with strong winds, called a tornado, caused damage in the northern part of Bradford. Sadly, some people living nearby lost their lives.
