Brechin Victoria Junior Football Club, often called The Vics, is a Scottish football team. They are a "Junior" club, which means they play in a special league system in Scotland. The club is based in Brechin, Angus. Their home ground is Victoria Park.
The Vics recently celebrated their 100th birthday! They were founded in 1917. The club works closely with the local community and youth clubs. They help young players learn and grow. This helps them move from playing at a young age to joining the main team.
Club History
Before the 2006–07 season, The Vics played in the Tayside Division One. This was part of the Scottish Junior Football Association's East Region.
In 2006, the league system changed. Brechin Victoria then joined the East Region, North Division. This division had twelve teams. In their first season there, they finished in 12th place.
After more changes to the league, The Vics now play in the East Region Premier League North.
Team Manager
Since October 2018, the team has been managed by Iain Ross. He used to be a goalkeeper for the Scotland Junior international team.
