Brendon Davis was a professional baseball player from the United States. He played as an infielder and outfielder. Brendon even played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers. He was born on July 28, 1997.

Brendon's Early Baseball Days

Brendon Davis went to Lakewood High School in Lakewood, California. He planned to play college baseball at Cal State Fullerton. However, he missed his last year of high school baseball. This was because he broke his arm in an accident.

The Los Angeles Dodgers picked him in the 5th round of the 2015 MLB draft. Brendon signed with the Dodgers. He received a special payment called a signing bonus.

Playing Professional Baseball

Starting with the Dodgers

Brendon began his professional career in 2015. He played for two rookie-level teams. These were the Arizona League Dodgers and the Ogden Raptors. He hit for a combined average of .254 in 30 games.

In 2016, Brendon played for the Great Lakes Loons. He hit five home runs and had 49 RBI (runs batted in). He started the 2017 season with the Loons again. Later, he moved up to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.

Moving to the Texas Rangers

On July 31, 2017, the Dodgers traded Brendon. He went to the Texas Rangers along with two other players. This trade was for a pitcher named Yu Darvish. Brendon finished 2017 with the Hickory Crawdads.

In 2018, he played for the Down East Wood Ducks. He hit six home runs and had 40 RBI. The 2019 season saw him with the Frisco RoughRiders. Brendon did not play in 2020. This was because the Minor League Baseball season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Joining the Los Angeles Angels

On December 10, 2020, the Los Angeles Angels chose Brendon. This happened during the minor league part of the Rule 5 draft. In 2021, he played for three different Angels teams. These were the Tri-City Dust Devils, Rocket City Trash Pandas, and Salt Lake Bees. He had a great year, hitting 30 home runs. He also had 83 RBI and stole 16 bases.

On November 5, 2021, the Angels added him to their main roster. He started the 2022 season back with the Salt Lake Bees.

Playing for the Detroit Tigers

On May 20, 2022, the Detroit Tigers picked up Brendon. He played 103 games for the Triple–A Toledo Mud Hens. He hit 14 home runs and had 47 RBI.

On September 30, 2022, Brendon was called up to the major leagues. This was his first time playing in MLB. He made his big-league debut the next day. This game was against the Minnesota Twins. On October 4, he got his first MLB hit. It was a single off Seattle Mariners pitcher Justus Sheffield. Brendon played in three games for the Tigers. He had two hits and one stolen base. On November 15, the Tigers removed him from their roster. He became a free agent a few days later.

On November 29, 2022, Brendon signed a new contract with the Tigers. It was a minor league deal. He started the 2023 season with the Triple–A Toledo team. He played 43 games there. The Tigers released him on June 23, 2023.

Back with the Dodgers

On January 4, 2024, Brendon signed another minor league contract. This time, it was with the Dodgers again. He played 115 games for the Double-A Tulsa Drillers. He also played eight games for the Triple–A Oklahoma City Baseball Club. He became a free agent after the 2024 season.

After Playing Baseball

In March 2025, Brendon Davis joined the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. He now works in their Player Acquisitions and Development department. This means he helps find and develop new players.
