Early Life and Dance Journey
Brennan Clost was born on October 20, 1994, in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Growing up, Brennan loved to dance. He trained at many different dance studios across southern Ontario, including the famous National Ballet School of Canada and Springboard Danse Montreal.
Even though he first thought about studying medicine at university, his dance teacher encouraged him to try out for the prestigious Juilliard School. This school is very famous for performing arts. In March 2012, Brennan auditioned and was accepted into Juilliard with a special scholarship. He was one of only two male Canadian dancers to get into the program that year!
Brennan's own dance routines were shown every year at Juilliard's Choreographic Honours Program. He also shared his choreography with young students in elementary schools throughout New York City. He graduated from Juilliard in 2016. Because of his intense dance training, Brennan sometimes faced physical challenges, like issues with his ankle, wrist, and shoulder.
