Brent Whitfield's Soccer Career
College and Amateur Teams
Brent Whitfield played college soccer for the Fullerton Titans. He played there for four seasons, from 1999 to 2003. During his time in college, he scored 23 goals and helped his teammates score 9 times.
After college, in 2004, Brent played for the Southern California Seahorses. This team was part of the USL Premier Development League.
Professional Soccer Teams
In 2005, Brent Whitfield joined the Seattle Sounders. This team played in the USL First Division, which was a professional soccer league. He played in 25 games for the Sounders and scored 6 goals.
In May 2006, Brent signed with Chivas USA. This team is part of Major League Soccer (MLS), which is the highest level of professional soccer in the United States. He played 11 games for Chivas USA and scored 1 goal. He left the team at the end of the 2007 season.

Brent Whitfield has also spent time as a soccer coach. From 2001 to 2006, he coached the men's soccer team at Long Beach City College. As mentioned earlier, he was also the player-coach for the Los Angeles Legends in 2009. This means he played on the team while also being their coach.
