Brindley Lambert Wright (born on May 6, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a power forward. Brent Wright had a long career playing for many teams around the world. He was known for his strong play and helping his teams win championships.

Playing Career Highlights
Early Basketball Days
Brent Wright started playing organized basketball a bit later than some. He began in 1993–94. Even so, he quickly became a top player. When he finished Miami Senior High School, he was one of the top 35 recruits in the whole country.
College Years at Florida
He went on to play college basketball for the University of Florida. He played there from 1997 to 2001. During his time, the Gators team was very successful. They made it to the NCAA Tournament three times in a row. Brent was also part of the Florida Gators team that reached the 2000 NCAA Final Four. This is a huge achievement in college basketball!
Success in Europe
After college, Brent Wright became a professional player. He played for many teams, mostly in Europe. He became well-known while playing for the Latvian team BK Ventspils. In 2005, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the regular season in the ULEB Cup. He also helped his team reach the quarterfinals of that competition. That same year, he helped Ventspils win the Latvian championship.
Brent continued to find success in other countries. He won championships in Sweden, Belgium, and Croatia. He also played in the Euroleague, which is one of the top basketball leagues in Europe.
