Brenton Bowen is a former professional rugby league player from Australia. He was born in Cairns, Queensland, on May 21, 1983. Brenton played for two main teams: the North Queensland Cowboys and the Gold Coast Titans. He is also the cousin of another famous rugby league player, Matt Bowen.

Brenton Bowen's Rugby League Journey

Early Days in Rugby League

Brenton started playing rugby league when he was young. He played for junior teams like Cairns Brothers in 1999. He also played for Abergowrie College in 2000. Brenton was good enough to represent his state, Queensland. He played in special schoolboy teams for players under 15 and under 17.

Playing for the North Queensland Cowboys

Brenton joined the North Queensland Cowboys team. He played his very first professional game in March 2003. This was against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. He played for the Cowboys until the end of the 2007 season.

Time with the Gold Coast Titans

In June 2007, it was announced that Brenton would move to a new team. He joined the Gold Coast Titans for the 2008 season. After playing for the Titans, he moved to a team called Northern Pride. This team was connected to the Cowboys.

Back with Northern Pride

In 2010, Brenton Bowen signed with the Northern Pride. This team was a feeder club for the North Queensland Cowboys. Feeder clubs help develop players for the main team.
