Bridlemile is a neighborhood located in Southwest Portland, Oregon. It's nestled in the West Hills, which are beautiful hills on the west side of the city.

The neighborhood's boundary is a bit unique. Part of Bridlemile is inside the city of Portland. Another part is in Multnomah County, but not officially part of Portland. Also, small sections of Bridlemile within Portland reach into Washington County.

Bridlemile is mostly a place where people live. You'll find many homes here. However, it also has a shopping area along Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

Bridlemile Elementary School

The neighborhood has its own school, Bridlemile Elementary. It's located on SW 47th Drive. This school is a central part of the community for many families.

Hamilton Park

Right next to the elementary school is Hamilton Park. This park offers a green space for residents to enjoy. It's a great place for outdoor activities and relaxation.

Historical Glencullen

Bridlemile also includes a historic area called Glencullen. This name comes from an early settler, Captain John Winchell Cullen. A train station named Glencullen even operated here for a few years in the 1920s.
