Brigham Circle facts for kids
Brigham Circle is a busy spot in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It's where two important streets, Tremont Street and Huntington Avenue, meet. This area is like the main shopping and activity center for Mission Hill. It's also right next to the Longwood Medical Area, which has many hospitals and schools.
The area is named after the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. This hospital is now part of the larger Brigham and Women's Hospital. Even though it's called a "circle," it's not a round traffic circle like some others in Boston. Huntington Avenue has always had straight lanes going through it. There's a small park at street level near the public transport stops. This park often hosts farmers' markets. You can also find entrances to Kevin W. Fitzgerald Park and other green spaces nearby.
