Brignogan-Plages (also called Brignogan) was a small town, or commune, located in the northwest of France. It was part of the Brittany region and the Finistère department. This area is known for its beautiful coastline.
Brignogan-Plages was a popular place for holidays, especially because of its lovely beaches. It was considered a seaside resort, which means it was a town where people went to enjoy the sea and sand.
On January 1, 2017, Brignogan-Plages joined with another nearby town to form a new, larger commune called Plounéour-Brignogan-Plages. So, while Brignogan-Plages no longer exists as a separate town on maps, its spirit and beautiful beaches are now part of this new, combined area.
