Britt Dekker was born on February 24, 1992. She is a Dutch horse rider, actress, and television presenter. Britt has hosted many TV shows, like Britt's Beestenbende and We Want More. She is also famous for playing Megan in the movies Whitestar (2019) and Silverstar (2022).

Britt Dekker's Career
TV Shows and Movies
Britt Dekker first became known on the dating show Take Me Out. This was the Dutch version of an Australian show. In 2011, she won the TV show Echte meisjes in de jungle. In this show, women from different reality television shows went to Suriname. They competed in fun challenges.
Britt and her friend Ymke Wieringa were both on Take Me Out and Echte meisjes in de jungle. They later made several shows together. These included De zomer van Britt & Ymke (2011) and Britt en Ymke en het mysterie van... (2012).
In 2012, Britt was in Echte meisjes op zoek naar zichzelf. This season of the show took place in Nepal. She also appeared on the game show De Jongens tegen de Meisjes. Britt and Ymke even had their own talk show called Britt en Ymke stellen vragen in 2012.
In 2013, Britt and Ymke presented Waar rook is... zijn Britt & Ymke. In this show, they checked if celebrity rumors were true. In 2014, they hosted Britt en Ymke aan de bak in Blanes. For this show, they traveled to Blanes, Spain. That same year, Britt and Jochem van Gelder presented Het Beste Idee van Nederland. This show featured people presenting their new inventions.
Movie Roles
In 2019, Britt Dekker played Megan in the adventure film Whitestar. This was her first movie role. She played Megan again in the 2022 adventure film Silverstar. This movie was very popular and won the Golden Film award. This means it sold over 100,000 tickets. In 2022, she also had a role in the film De Club van Sinterklaas en de Race Tegen de Klok. This film also won a Golden Film award.
Hosting and Team Captain Roles
Britt presented the quiz show Britt's Beestenbende in 2019 and 2020. This show had questions about animals. Two teams competed, with Tim Douwsma and Défano Holwijn as team captains. The show was nominated for a 2020 Zapp Award. This was Britt's first time hosting a TV studio show. In 2019, she was also a team captain on the show Te leuk om waar te zijn.
In 2021, Britt Dekker and Wendy van Dijk hosted the second season of the singing talent show We Want More. Since 2022, Britt has been presenting the TV show CupCakeCup.
In 2023, Britt appeared on an episode of The Masked Singer. Since 2024, she has been presenting Lachen om Home Video's. This is the Dutch version of America's Funniest Home Videos. She is also a co-host on the show Ja of Nee? with Kalvijn.
Britt Dekker and Ron Boszhard won the Favoriete Zapp duo award at the 2025 Zapp Awards. She is also one of the team captains on the 2025 quiz show Hart tegen Hart.
Writing Books
In 2023, Britt Dekker wrote her first children's book, Een veulen op de manege. Her second book, Winteravontuur te paard, came out in January 2024. Her third book, Veulen vermist!, was published in September 2024. All her books are about horses.
Horse Riding Achievements
Britt Dekker is also a talented horse rider. She competed in the Dutch Dressage Championships in Ermelo. She finished 13th in 2018 and 11th in 2021. In 2023, Britt won a gold medal at the Iberian Masters event in Paris, France. This shows her skill in horse riding.
Personal Life
Britt Dekker married director Max Apotowski in September 2024. They first met in 2013 while working on the TV show Waar rook is... zijn Britt & Ymke. Her wedding dress was designed by Zuhair Murad. Television presenter Jochem van Gelder led their wedding ceremony.
