Britt Dekker (born on February 24, 1992) is a Dutch horse rider, actress, and TV presenter. She has hosted many TV shows, like Britt's Beestenbende, We Want More, and First & Last. Britt is also famous for playing Megan in the movies Whitestar (2019) and Silverstar (2022).

TV Shows and Movies
Britt first became known by appearing in 65 episodes of a TV dating show called Take Me Out. This was the Dutch version of an Australian show. In 2011, she won the TV show Echte meisjes in de jungle. This show was the first season of the Echte meisjes ... series. In this show, women from different reality television shows went to Suriname. There, they competed in many fun challenges.
Britt Dekker and Ymke Wieringa were both on Take Me Out and Echte meisjes in de jungle. They then worked together on several shows. These included De zomer van Britt & Ymke (2011) and Britt en Ymke en het mysterie van... (2012).
In 2012, Britt was in Echte meisjes op zoek naar zichzelf. This was the second season of the Echte meisjes ... TV series. This time, the show took place in Nepal. She also appeared in an episode of the game show De Jongens tegen de Meisjes. Britt and Ymke also had their own talk show in 2012, called Britt en Ymke stellen vragen.
Britt and Ymke hosted the 2013 show Waar rook is... zijn Britt & Ymke. In this show, they checked if celebrity gossip was true. In 2014, they also hosted Britt en Ymke aan de bak in Blanes. For this show, they traveled to Blanes, Spain. In the same year, Britt and Jochem van Gelder hosted Het Beste Idee van Nederland. In this show, people showed their new inventions to a group of judges.
Acting in Films
In 2019, Britt played the character Megan in the adventure movie Whitestar. This was her very first movie role. She played Megan again in the 2022 adventure film Silverstar. This movie won the Golden Film award. It got this award after selling 100,000 tickets. In the same year, she also had a role in the movie De Club van Sinterklaas en de Race Tegen de Klok. This film also won the Golden Film award.
Hosting TV Shows
Britt hosted the quiz show Britt's Beestenbende in 2019 and 2020. This show had questions all about animals. Two teams competed against each other. The team captains were Tim Douwsma and Défano Holwijn. The show was nominated for a 2020 Zapp Award. It was nominated in the category Favoriete Jeugdprogramma (Favorite Youth Program). This was her first time hosting a TV studio show. In 2019, Britt was a team captain in the show Te leuk om waar te zijn. Buddy Vedder hosted this show.
Wendy van Dijk and Britt Dekker hosted the second season of the singing talent show We Want More in 2021. Since 2022, she has been hosting the TV show CupCakeCup.
In 2023, Britt appeared in an episode of The Masked Singer. In 2024, she hosts the TV show Lachen om Home Video's. This is the Dutch version of America's Funniest Home Videos. She is also a co-host in the TV show Ja of Nee? with Kalvijn.
Writing Books
In 2023, Britt Dekker wrote a children's book called Een veulen op de manege. Her second book, Winteravontuur te paard, came out in January 2024. Her third book, Veulen vermist!, was published in September 2024. These books are about horses and adventures.
Horse Riding Success
Britt is also a talented horse rider. She finished in 13th place at the 2018 Dutch Dressage Championships. This event was held in Ermelo, Netherlands. She finished in 11th place in the same competition in 2021. In 2023, Britt won a gold medal in her event. This was at the Iberian Masters event in Paris, France.
Britt Dekker's Personal Life
Britt Dekker and director Max Apotowski got married in September 2024. They first met during the 2013 TV show Waar rook is... zijn Britt & Ymke. Her wedding dress was designed by the famous fashion designer Zuhair Murad. Jochem van Gelder led their wedding ceremony.
