Brittani Nichols, born on June 20, 1988, is an American producer, actress, comedian, and writer. She is known for her work in television and film. In 2016, Brittani wrote, produced, and starred in the film ... Kale. This movie won an important award called the Audience Award for Best U.S. Dramatic Feature at Outfest in 2016.
She has also written for popular TV shows like A Black Lady Sketch Show and Abbott Elementary. For her writing on Abbott Elementary, she won an award at the 54th NAACP Image Awards for the episode "Student Transfer". As a producer for Abbott Elementary, Brittani was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2023 and 2024.

Early Work in TV and Film
After college, Brittani Nichols moved to Los Angeles. There, she created a web series called Words With Girls in 2012. Later, this series was turned into a full TV pilot. It was produced by ColorCreative.tv, a company started by Issa Rae. The show was about a group of young women living together in Los Angeles. Brittani also starred in it.
In 2016, Brittani wrote, produced, and acted in the film ... Kale. This movie was a comedy that featured an all-female cast. Brittani wanted to make a movie that showed different kinds of stories about women. She has often said that she wants to help more diverse voices, especially African-American voices, be seen in movies and TV. ... Kale was very successful and won the Audience Award at Outfest.

Brittani has appeared in several TV shows. These include A Black Lady Sketch Show, Take My Wife, and .... She was also a writer for the first season of the HBO series A Black Lady Sketch Show. She has written for other shows like Drop the Mic and Take My Wife. Brittani also worked as a consulting producer for shows like The Circle and Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness.
In 2020, it was announced that Brittani would produce a show called Toothbrush. However, the company that was going to air it, Quibi, closed down before the show could be made.
