Bruce Hull Crump, Jr. (born July 17, 1957 – died March 16, 2015) was an American musician. He was a talented drummer and songwriter. Bruce is best known as the first drummer for the rock band Molly Hatchet. He played with them for many years.
He was part of Molly Hatchet from 1976 to 1983. He then returned to the band from 1984 to 1991. Molly Hatchet had a very popular song called "Flirtin' with Disaster" in 1980. Bruce also played with the Canadian band Streetheart in the early 1980s.
Bruce Crump passed away on March 16, 2015. He was 57 years old. He died in a hospital in Richmond, Virginia.
