History of Brunerstown
Brunerstown has an interesting past! It was started a long time ago, in the year 1837. A person named Joseph Bruner founded the community. He was important because Brunerstown was named after him.
A few years later, in 1839, a post office opened in Brunerstown. This was a place where people could send and receive letters and packages. It was a very important service back then! However, the post office didn't stay open forever. It closed down in 1859, about 20 years after it first opened.
