Bruno Tshibala Nzenze was born on February 20, 1956. He is a politician from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). He held an important job as the Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 2017 to 2019.

Bruno Tshibala's Early Life and School
Bruno Tshibala grew up and went to school in a city called Lubumbashi. After finishing his early studies, he went to Marien Ngouabi University. There, he studied law in a city called Brazzaville.
Bruno Tshibala's Journey in Politics
Bruno Tshibala started his political journey when he was just 24 years old. This was in April 1980. He joined a political group in Zaire, which is now the DRC. At that time, the country was led by Mobutu Sese Seko.
Asking for Change
In December 1980, Bruno Tshibala and 13 other lawmakers wrote a letter. They asked President Mobutu to make the country more democratic. This was a big step because the country had only one political party then.
Joining the Opposition Party
Later, Tshibala joined the Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UPDS). This was the main opposition party in the DRC. He became a spokesperson for the party. He also became a deputy secretary-general.
Protests and Release
In 2016, there were protests in the DRC. People were upset because the government delayed the next election. Bruno Tshibala was involved in these protests. He was later released.
Becoming Prime Minister
After the protests, an agreement was made to form a new government. This government would prepare for the election. The opposition parties had trouble agreeing on a leader. Bruno Tshibala had left his party after a disagreement.
President Joseph Kabila then chose Bruno Tshibala to be the Prime Minister. He announced this on April 7, 2017. Tshibala officially started his job on May 18, 2017. He said his main goal was to organize the country's next general election.
Working with China
In September 2018, Bruno Tshibala led the DRC's group to a big meeting in Beijing, China. He met with President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China. They talked about the good relationship between their two countries. Tshibala also showed the DRC's support for the Belt and Road Initiative. This is a big plan to build connections around the world.
Senate Election
In 2019, Bruno Tshibala tried to become a Senator for the DRC. However, he did not win the Senate election on March 15.
