Bryan Terry, born on October 27, 1968, is an American doctor and a politician from Tennessee. He is a member of the Republican Party. Since 2015, he has represented the 48th district in the Tennessee House of Representatives. This district covers the eastern part of Murfreesboro. He is the only Native American serving in the Tennessee House of Representatives.

Bryan Terry was born in Oklahoma. As a young person, he worked in his family's business, which involved auto parts. He later attended the University of Oklahoma. After that, he studied at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine to become a doctor.

Political Career
In 2014, the representative for the 48th district, Joe Carr, decided not to run again for his seat. Bryan Terry decided to run for this position. He won a close election to become the new representative.
Since then, Terry has continued to win his elections easily. He won again in 2016 and 2018. His district is known for having many Republican voters.
