Bryony Kate Frances Page (born 10 December 1990) is a British trampoline gymnast. She is famous for winning medals at the Olympic Games. In 2024, she won the gold medal in individual trampoline at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Bryony Page is also a two-time world champion in individual trampoline, winning in 2021 and 2023. She was part of the British team that won gold at the 2013 World Championships. She also helped her team win the all-around team gold in 2022.
Page made history at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She became the first British trampolinist to win an Olympic medal, earning a silver. Five years later, at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, she won a bronze medal. Her gold medal win in 2024 made her the first British gymnast to become an Olympic champion in trampolining. She is also the first British female individual Olympic champion in gymnastics. With one Olympic gold and five world titles, Bryony Page is the most successful British female gymnast ever.

Early Life and School
Bryony Page was born in Crewe, England. She started trampolining when she was nine years old. She went to Brine Leas School and later Malbank School and Sixth Form College.
Page studied biology at the University of Sheffield. She received a special sports scholarship to help her with her studies and training. She finished her degree in 2015 with top grades. Her final project was about the sounds that dinosaurs made. After graduating, she decided to focus completely on her trampolining career.
Bryony Page's Trampolining Career
Early in her career, Bryony Page faced a challenge called the yips. This is when athletes temporarily lose their fine motor skills, which affected her confidence. But she worked hard and overcame this in 2010 with help from a coach.
She competed in her first World Championships in 2010, finishing fourth. At the 2011 World Championships, her team won a silver medal. She missed the 2012 Olympic Games in London because she was ill and injured. However, she won a gold medal at the 2012 World Cup in Sofia.
Bryony Page won three British Championship titles in a row from 2013 to 2015. She was also part of the British teams that won gold at the 2013 World Championships. Her teams also won gold at the 2014 and 2016 European Championships. She placed fifth in the individual event at the 2015 World Championships.
Olympic Success
At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Bryony Page and her teammate Kat Driscoll were the first British trampolinists to reach the final. Page qualified in seventh place. In the final, she scored 56.040 points, which put her in the lead for a while. She eventually won the silver medal, making history as the first British trampolinist to win an Olympic medal.
At the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Page continued her success by winning a bronze medal. Later that year, she won an individual gold medal at the 2021 World Championships. Her team also won a bronze medal in the team event.
In 2024, Bryony Page achieved her biggest dream. She won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. This was the first Olympic trampoline gold medal ever won by a British gymnast. At the closing ceremony, Page was one of the flag-bearers for Great Britain, alongside triathlete Alex Yee.
In November 2024, Page shared exciting news. She announced that she would train with Cirque du Soleil in Montreal. She plans to join their shows on tour in 2025.
Awards and Recognition
In 2022, Bryony Page received a special award from the University of Sheffield. She was given an honorary doctorate. This award recognized her outstanding service and the distinction she brought to the University and the city of Sheffield.
