Buddy is a TV show from 1986 made by the BBC. It was a drama series shown in schools. The show is based on a popular book called Buddy by Nigel Hinton.
The story is about a teenager named Buddy Clark. He faces many challenges in his life. The show stars Wayne Goddard as Buddy. Roger Daltrey, a famous singer, plays Buddy's father, Terry. Students from Cavendish School in Eastbourne also appeared in the series.
Later, in 1991, a movie called Buddy's Song was made. Roger Daltrey played Terry again in the film. The role of Buddy was played by Chesney Hawkes.
About the Show
