Buitoni is a famous Italian food company. It started way back in 1827 in a town called Sansepolcro, Italy. The company is well-known for making pasta and sauces in factories.
In 1985, the Buitoni family, who owned the company for a long time, sold it to a person named Carlo De Benedetti. A few years later, in 1988, a very large food company called Nestlé bought Buitoni.
In 2017, Nestlé started to change how it managed its brands. It made a deal with another company, Frosta AG, to make and sell some Buitoni frozen meals in Italy.
What Buitoni Makes

Buitoni makes many different kinds of pasta and sauces. They send their products to about 50 countries around the world. This means people in many places can enjoy Buitoni foods!
The company also makes products for other brands. This is called "private-label production." It means Buitoni makes food, but it's sold with another company's name on it.
Casa Buitoni: A Special Place
Casa Buitoni is a special house located in the hills of Tuscany, Italy. This area is beautiful, with fields of tomatoes, wheat, vegetables, herbs, and olives.
The house used to belong to Giuseppe, who was the grandson of Giulia Buitoni, one of the family members who helped start the company. Today, Casa Buitoni is a very important place for the company.
It's where new Buitoni products are created and tested. The house has a special test kitchen where chefs try out new recipes. It also has a workshop for showing how to use their products and a center for talking about the company's foods.
