History of Bunker Hill
The name Bunker Hill was chosen to remember an important event called the Battle of Bunker Hill. This battle happened a long time ago during the American Revolutionary War.
Bunker Hill used to have a post office, which is where people send and receive mail. This post office was named Myers. It was named after a man named Henry Myers, who was one of the first people to settle in the area. The Myers post office opened in 1859 and stayed open until 1905. After that, it closed down.
