Bunmi Adaeze Mojekwu is an English actress. She was born on February 10, 1989. Many people know her for playing Mercy Olubunmi. This role was in the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 2010 to 2011.

Bunmi Mojekwu's Early Life and School

Bunmi Mojekwu was born in Brixton, South London. Her parents are from Nigeria. She is the oldest of four children in her family. In 2006, her family moved to Strood, Kent. Bunmi went to St Simon Stock Catholic School in Maidstone. She had a small part in a school play. It was a version of The Wizard of Oz.

Also in 2006, Bunmi joined the Identity Drama School in Kent. She won an award there for Actress of the Year. She later went to Kingston University. In 2010, she finished her studies. She earned a degree in Business and Media Studies.

Bunmi Mojekwu played a character named Paris in a play. The play was called Gone Too Far! and won awards. In 2008, she acted in a TV film. It was a crime drama on Channel 4 called Fallout. She played Ronnie Kiffin in that film.

In 2009, Bunmi got a role in an online teen drama. It was called EastEnders: E20. This show was a spin-off from the popular BBC One show EastEnders. EastEnders: E20 started in January 2010. After that, she continued playing Mercy Olubunmi in the main EastEnders show. She was on the show for six months. Her last appearance on EastEnders was on July 12, 2011.
