Bunmi Adaeze Mojekwu (born 10 February 1989) is an English actress. She is best known for playing Mercy Olubunmi in the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders. She was on the show from 2010 to 2011.

Growing Up and School
Bunmi Mojekwu was born in Brixton, a part of South London. Her parents are from Nigeria. She is the oldest of four children.
In 2006, her family moved to Strood, a town in Kent. Bunmi went to St Simon Stock Catholic School in Maidstone. She had a small role in a school play of The Wizard of Oz.
Also in 2006, Bunmi joined the Identity Drama School in Kent. She won the school's Actress of the Year award. In 2010, she finished her studies at Kingston University. She earned a degree in Business and Media Studies.
Bunmi's Acting Career
Bunmi Mojekwu played a character named Paris in a play called Gone Too Far!. This play won an award. In 2008, she acted in a TV crime drama film called Fallout. She played a character named Ronnie Kiffin.
Starring in EastEnders
In 2009, Bunmi got a role as Mercy Olubunmi. This was for an online teen drama called EastEnders: E20. It was a spin-off show from the very popular BBC soap opera EastEnders. EastEnders: E20 started in January 2010.
After this, she was asked to play Mercy Olubunmi in the main EastEnders show. She was on the show for six months. Her last episode on EastEnders was on 12 July 2011.

Bunmi Mojekwu also appeared in a movie for the first time in 2013. It was a comedy film called Powder Room. She played a character named Louise.
In 2016, Bunmi started her own company called Bam Film Productions.
