What the Movie is About
This movie is based on the old American stories about Paul Bunyan. It tells the tale of two kids, Travis and Whitney. They are sent to their grandparents' farm in Minnesota for the summer.
While exploring, Travis finds a secret place. This is where Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox have been hiding! They disappeared from the Dead Forest a long time ago. The story follows Bunyan and Babe as they team up with the kids. Their mission is to stop a bad guy from destroying a town.
The Story of Bunyan and Babe
Travis Barclay, who is 12 years old, and his younger sister Whitney are not happy about spending their summer at their grandparents' farm. The farm is in a place called Delbert County.
A greedy man named Norm Blandsford is buying up the small country town. He is forcing people to leave their homes and farms. Travis has a problem with one of Blandsford's workers. He gets chased into the forest. There, he finds a magic door to a hidden world. This is where Paul Bunyan lives!
Paul Bunyan has been living by himself for 100 years. He felt useless after machines became popular. He thought the new world didn't need him anymore. Paul doesn't want to, but he takes Travis back to the farm.
When they get back, Paul sees Norm Blandsford's mean plan. Suddenly, Paul remembers his purpose. He feels important again. Paul and Babe the Blue Ox get involved in a new adventure. With the help of their new friends, Travis and Whitney, they save the town. They learn that you don't have to be big to do big things!
