Early Life and Education
Burak Özçivit was born in Istanbul, Turkey. His family is originally from Gaziantep. He went to Kazım İşmen High School. Later, he studied at Marmara University. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, where he focused on photography.
Becoming a Star
From Modeling to Acting
Burak Özçivit started his career as a model. In 2003, he was named the Top Model of Turkey. Two years later, in 2005, he was chosen as the second-best model in the world.
His acting journey began in 2006 with the TV series Eksi 18. He then gained more attention with his role as Ömer in the series Zoraki Koca. He also appeared in the movie Musallat.

He got engaged to Turkish actress Fahriye Evcen in Germany on March 9, 2017. They got married in Istanbul on June 29, 2017. Burak and Fahriye have two sons. Their first son, Karan, was born in 2019. Their second son, Kerem, was born in 2023.
