Burlington Centre is a big shopping mall located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. It used to be called Burlington Mall. This mall is huge, covering about 721,000 square feet! It's one of two large indoor shopping centers in Burlington, the other being the Mapleview Centre.

Burlington Centre has two floors. The upper floor includes a path to the food court and the second level of the Hudson's Bay store. The mall first opened its doors way back in 1968. You can find many popular stores here, like Hudson's Bay, Homesense, Old Navy, and Winners.

The mall is easy to find, located where Guelph Line, Fairview Street, and Prospect Street meet. It's also just south of the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) highway. Primaris Reit currently owns Burlington Centre.

What Can You Do at Burlington Centre?

Burlington Centre is a great place to shop, hang out, and find different services. Most of the stores are on the first floor. You can explore many different shops, from fashion to electronics.

Beyond Shopping

While shopping is a main activity, the mall offers more. On the second floor, you can find various offices, including medical and dental clinics.

Just outside the mall, there's a special place called the Burlington Centre Farmers' Market. This market has been serving the community since 1959! It's a fantastic spot to find fresh local produce and other goods.

A Bit of History

Burlington Centre has been around for a long time. It first opened in 1968, which means it has been a part of the Burlington community for over 50 years! Over the years, it has changed owners a few times. For example, before Primaris Reit, it was owned by Ivanhoe Cambridge until 2011. The mall has grown and adapted to offer a great experience for everyone who visits.
