About Mapleview Mall

History and Upgrades

Between 2008 and 2010, Mapleview Mall got a huge makeover! This big renovation cost about $64 million. The goal was to make the mall more modern and attractive. It also helped bring in new, fancy international stores. These new stores helped Mapleview compete with other large shopping centers in the Greater Toronto Area.

Stores and Restaurants

Mapleview Mall has many different stores for you to explore. The main big store, also called an "anchor store," is Hudson’s Bay.

There used to be another large store called Sears. That space is now being changed into two new areas. One part will be a store called Decathlon. It is planned to open in the lower section in the fall of 2020. Another store will open on the upper level, but its name has not been shared yet.

When you get hungry, Mapleview Mall has some great places to eat. You can find restaurants like Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill and Earl's Kitchen and Bar.
