Butterfly World is a special place on the Isle of Wight where you can see many different kinds of butterflies flying freely. It's like a zoo, but just for butterflies!
It first opened its doors on 1 May 1983. This made it the very first butterfly farm to open inside a garden centre in the United Kingdom. It was also one of the first five butterfly farms ever created in the entire world!
Inside Butterfly World, you'll find a warm, indoor garden that feels like a sub-tropical forest. Here, beautiful butterflies fly all around you, just as they would in their natural homes.
