César Aparecido Rodrigues (born on October 24, 1974), known simply as César, is a Brazilian former footballer. He played as a left midfielder or a left-back. After retiring from playing, he became a youth coach for Lazio.
César achieved great success during his playing career. He won two Serie A titles with Inter. He also won two Coppa Italia titles, one with Inter and another with Lazio. He proudly represented the Brazilian national team twice in 2001.

César's Football Journey
César began his football career in his hometown of São Paulo. He started with CA Juventus, a smaller team at the time.
Early Career and Return to Football
In 1994, his team, CA Juventus, was promoted to the top division of their state league. After a period away from the sport, César returned to football in 1998. He joined São Caetano. This team had signed him before his break.
He was first loaned to União Barbarense. When he came back to São Caetano, César quickly became a very important player. He even became the team captain. He helped lead his team from lower leagues all the way to the Brazilian national championship finals in 2000.
Playing in Italy: Lazio and Inter Milan
After being watched by Lazio for some time, César moved to Italy in the summer of 2001. He joined the Italian Serie A team, Lazio, and became a key player for the Roman club.
In January 2006, Inter Milan loaned César. This gave him the chance to play for one of Italy's top teams. In the summer of 2006, his contract with Lazio ended. César then officially joined Inter, signing a long-term contract.
However, César was soon loaned to Corinthians, a major Brazilian team. By December 2006, after the Brazilian season ended, César wanted to play in Italy again. He signed with Livorno on loan in January 2007.
Later Career and Retirement
On February 11, 2007, César played his first Serie A match for Livorno against his former team, Inter. He started the 2007–08 season well with Internazionale. He worked well with Maxwell on the left side of the field and even scored a goal.
In the summer of 2008, César became a free agent after his contract with Inter ended. He did not sign with a club for the first half of the 2008–09 season. On November 18, 2008, César signed with Bologna. His former assistant coach at Inter, Siniša Mihajlović, was the coach there. On October 9, 2009, he joined Valle del Giovenco, an Italian third division club.
Coaching Career Begins
In August 2011, César decided to stop playing football professionally. He accepted a coaching job at S.S. Lazio. He was put in charge of the Giovanissimi Provinciali B youth team. This role allowed him to share his experience with young, aspiring footballers.
