César de la Hoz López (born March 30, 1992) is a Spanish football player. He mainly plays as a midfielder for the Oviedo club.

Club Career Highlights
César de la Hoz started his football journey in Spain. He has played for several teams, moving up through different leagues.
Early Career Steps
César was born in Orejo, Marina de Cudeyo, Cantabria. He grew up playing in the youth system of Racing de Santander. He first played for their reserve team, Racing B, in the 2011–12 season.
On August 19, 2012, César made his first professional appearance. He played for Racing Santander in a game against UD Las Palmas in the Segunda División, which is Spain's second-highest football league.
After that, on July 13, 2013, he joined Barakaldo CF. He played regularly there before moving to Real Betis B on July 10, 2014.
Later, on August 30, 2017, César was loaned to Albacete Balompié, another team in the second division. He scored his first professional goals on October 15, scoring two goals in one game!
Time with Almería
On July 4, 2018, César signed a two-year contract with UD Almería, which was also in the second division. He became a very important player for the team and even one of the team captains.
In 2021, he extended his contract until 2023. At the end of the 2021–22 season, his team, Almería, won the Segunda División championship and moved up to La Liga, which is Spain's top football league!
César made his debut in La Liga when he was 30 years old, on August 27, 2022. He scored his first goal in La Liga on October 29, helping his team win against RC Celta de Vigo.
On June 14, 2023, César left Almería when his contract ended.
Playing for Valladolid
On July 21, 2023, César signed a two-year contract with Real Valladolid. This team had just moved down to the second division. With César's help, Valladolid returned to La Liga after just one season.
Moving to Oviedo
On January 16, 2025, César de la Hoz joined Real Oviedo. He signed an 18-month contract with his new club.
