The CBBC Official Chart Show was a fun British TV series for kids. It was all about music and the official UK charts. The main presenter was Cel Spellman. Sometimes, Yasser Ranjha and Millie Lloyd would step in to host. The show started on the CBBC channel on 10 May 2015. It ran for about two years, ending on 17 February 2017. After The CBBC Official Chart Show finished, a new music show called The Playlist took its place in April 2017.

What Was The Show About?

The CBBC Official Chart Show was a lively programme that counted down the top songs in the UK. It usually focused on the top 10 tracks of the week. The show wasn't just about music; it also featured cool games and challenges.

The show's schedule changed a few times during its run.

  • When it first started in May 2015, it aired on Sundays.
  • Later, it moved to Fridays.
  • For a short time, some episodes were pre-recorded and shown on Saturdays.
  • Eventually, it went back to being a live show on Fridays.

In its second series, the show got a fresh new look. Viewers could even vote for their favourite songs to be played on the show. This part was called 'the playlist'. There was also a special Christmas episode in 2016 with more games.
