The Cabinet of Petr Nečas was a group of top government officials in the Czech Republic. This team was led by Petr Nečas, who was the Prime Minister. It was formed after the country's election in 2010.

This government was a "coalition" cabinet. This means it was made up of several political parties working together. The main parties in this cabinet were the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), TOP 09, and Public Affairs. Later, the Public Affairs party was replaced by another party called LIDEM. The cabinet worked together to govern the Czech Republic from July 2010 until July 2013.

What is a Government Cabinet?

A government cabinet is like a special team that helps the country's leader, the Prime Minister or President, run the country. Each member of the cabinet is usually in charge of a specific area, like health, education, or defense. These members are called ministers. They work together to make important decisions and create new laws.

How the Nečas Cabinet was Formed

After the 2010 Czech legislative election in May 2010, no single political party won enough votes to govern alone. So, the Civic Democratic Party, TOP 09, and Public Affairs decided to join forces. They formed a coalition government. This allowed them to have enough support in the parliament to pass laws and lead the country.
