Caborn is a small, unincorporated community located in Marrs Township, within Posey County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. An unincorporated community is a place that doesn't have its own local government, but it still has people living there.
The Story of Caborn
Caborn was first planned and settled in 1871. It was started by a man named Cornelius Caborn, and the community was named after him. For a while, Caborn even had its own post office. This post office opened in 1876 and served the community until 1911.
