Cadbury Snowflake facts for kids

Kids Encyclopedia Facts

Cadbury Snowflake was a special chocolate bar made by Cadbury. It was launched in August 2000 in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

This chocolate bar was unique. It had a crumbly white chocolate center, like a Twirl bar. This white chocolate was then covered in smooth milk chocolate. Each bar weighed about 32 grams, making it a small, bite-sized treat.

In 2003, Cadbury changed its name to Flake Snow. However, it was later stopped being made in 2008. Years later, in 2015, Cadbury Snowflake was launched for the first time in Australia.

How Snowflake Was Promoted

Cadbury Snowflake was promoted in an interesting way. It was featured at the wedding of TV presenter Anthea Turner and her husband Grant Bovey. Pictures from their wedding were published in OK! magazine. These photos showed the couple with the new Cadbury Snowflake bar. This helped many people see and learn about the new chocolate.
