Cagayan Valley is a special area in the Philippines. It is also known as Region II. You can find it in the northeastern part of Luzon Island. The main city and capital of this region is Tuguegarao City.

This region is mostly a big valley. It sits between two large mountain ranges. These are the Cordilleras and the Sierra Madre. The Cagayan River flows through this valley. It starts in the Caraballo Mountains and ends in the Luzon Strait. The region also includes the Babuyan Islands and Batanes Islands in the north.
