Caldes de Montbui is a town and municipality in Catalonia, Spain. It is located in a region called the Vallès Oriental, which is like a county. The town sits in the upper part of the Caldes river valley. The highest point nearby is el Farell peak, which is 816 meters high. Caldes de Montbui is about 30 kilometers away from Barcelona and is part of its larger city area.

This town is famous for its hot springs, which have been used since Roman times! You can still see parts of the old Roman baths and other Roman buildings. There's a special spring called la Font del Lleó (which means "Lion Springs") in the main square. The water from this spring comes out at over 70 degrees Celsius (158 degrees Fahrenheit)!

Caldes de Montbui also has parts of its old medieval walls and a tower called Torre de la Presó (prison tower). The Hermitage (religious retreat)|hermitage of la Mare de Déu del Remei is a religious building from the 1500s. The Santa Maria church, with its fancy Baroque entrance, is also from that time. The old Roman church of Sant Sebastià de Montmajor is very well kept. It's in a village with the same name, at the far north-west of the municipality.
