Calvin Richardson (born December 16, 1976) is an American R&B singer and songwriter. He is known for his soulful voice and for writing many of his own songs. He started his music journey in the mid-1990s.

Calvin Richardson's Music Journey
Calvin Richardson began his solo career in the mid-1990s. He signed with Universal Records. His first album, called Country Boy, came out on August 24, 1999. It sold 100,000 copies. After this, he moved to Hollywood Records.
Making Albums and Hits
On September 16, 2003, Calvin released his second album, 2:35 PM. He named the album 2:35 PM because his child was born at that exact time while he was finishing the album. This album included a popular R&B song called "Keep On Pushin'". Calvin wrote and produced this song himself.
He also recorded a song called "More Than a Woman." He first sang it as a duet with Angie Stone. Later, he re-recorded it as a solo song for his 2:35 PM album. Another version of the song, with vocals by singer Joe, was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2003. This was for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group.
Calvin also helped write other songs for famous artists. He co-wrote "Excuse Me" for Raphael Saadiq's album Instant Vintage. He also helped write "There Goes My Baby" for Charlie Wilson.
Later Albums and Projects
Calvin Richardson released his third album, When Love Comes, on May 27, 2008. It was released by Shanachie Records. In 2009, he made a special album to honor the legendary singer Bobby Womack. This album was called Facts Of Life: The Soul Of Bobby Womack. It was nominated for a Grammy Award.
On August 31, 2010, Calvin released his fifth album, Americas Most Wanted. The main song from this album was "You're So Amazing."
In 2013, Calvin joined a TV show called "Come Back Kings." This show featured several musicians. In 2014, he signed a new music deal with Jordan House Records and Primary Wave Music. He then released a song called "We Gon' Love Tonite" from his album I Am Calvin. His album I Am Calvin came out on September 30, 2014. In 2015, he released another song from that album called "Hearsay."
